Asisat Oshoala shares relationship advice
Super Falcons and Bay FC of America star Asisat Oshoala has once again offered her followers some valuable relationship advice.
The 29-year-old former Barcelona forward took to social media to share her thoughts on finding love and managing relationships. In a post on her Snapchat account, Oshoala emphasised the importance of mutual respect and communication in relationships.
“No date who no dey regard you …except you just wan do chop n go. Long term? DON’T DO IT!!! No date who you feel you can’t control/talk to. In the long run, body go tell you…..” Oshoala advised.
Despite her relationship insights, Oshoala, a six-time African Women’s Player of the Year, is not publicly known to be in a relationship. Her primary focus remains on her flourishing football career and growing influence off the pitch.
Since joining NWSL club Bay F.C. in February 2024, Oshoala has made a significant impact, scoring two goals and providing one assist in her first 11 appearances.
Beyond the field, Oshoala has achieved notable milestones, including becoming the most-followed African female athlete on Instagram. From February to June 2024, she gained an impressive 100,000 followers, surpassing tennis star Ons Jabeur to top the social media rankings among African female athletes.
