Aston Villa Agree Deal for Teen Striker Brian Madjo

Aston Villa have agreed a deal to sign Brian Madjo from FC Metz, according to reports from football journalist Fabrizio Romano.

The agreement is worth €12 million, with Madjo set to sign a five-year contract. The 16-year-old, who turns 17 next week, is scheduled to undergo a medical, with the move expected to be completed shortly.

Madjo is a 6’4 striker who has already made appearances for Metz’s senior team despite his age. He has also earned three senior caps for the Luxembourg national team.

The deal represents a significant investment from Villa, particularly given the player’s age. Club sources and fan reports suggest Madjo is viewed as a long-term project, likely to develop behind Ollie Watkins under head coach Unai Emery.

Spending €12 million on a teenager is a bold move, but Villa appear confident in Madjo’s physical profile and early senior experience as they look to secure a high-upside talent for the future.

We wish Madjo the best as he begins the next stage of his career and look forward to seeing how he develops and performs at Aston Villa.
