Atalanta confirms offers for Super Eagles winger Ademola Lookman from Saudi Arabia
Italian Serie A side Atalanta have confirmed receiving offers from Saudi Arabian club Al Ittihad for Super Eagles winger Ademola Lookman.
The Nigerian international gained attention last season with his superb performances in both the league and continental competitions.
On Friday, Atalanta announced that they have received offers from Al Ittihad and other top European teams. “We have received an official offer from Al Ittihad, but Atalanta has not yet received any offer, given the Saudi club’s desire to first find an agreement with us,” the club stated.
“There are also requests for information from other European clubs on the player’s future and their position regarding the possibility of a departure. We will see what is best for the player and discuss it with his clubs,” Atalanta added.
