Atlético Madrid signs Julián Álvarez from Manchester City

Atlético Madrid has officially secured the signing of Argentine forward Julián Álvarez from Manchester City. The 24-year-old has agreed to a six-year contract, keeping him at the club until 2030.

Álvarez, known as “La Araña” (The Spider), brings a wealth of experience and versatility to Atlético Madrid. His impressive track record includes a successful stint with River Plate, where he scored 54 goals and provided 31 assists in 122 appearances, and a notable career at Manchester City, where he won multiple trophies, including two Premier League titles, the Champions League, the FA Cup, and the Club World Cup.
