Award-winning Referee Ferdinand Udoh gets NFF appointment
Multiple award-winning Referee Anietie Ferdinand Udoh has been appointed Member of the Nigeria Football Federation – NFF Normalization Committee in Akwa Ibom State.
Recently, the Akwa Ibom State Football Association –Â AKFA has been rocked by controversies, reason the NFF has decided to hand responsibility of overseeing a return to normalcy in the experienced hands of a 6-man committee where FIFA Referee Anietie Ferdinand Udoh will serve as member.
The appointment of Ferdinand Udoh is contained in a letter signed by Ali Muhammad NFF’s Head of member Associations and Special Duties, dated 8th June 2023 and addressed to the Honourable Commissioner Akwa Ibom State Ministry of Youths and Sports.
South-South Vice President of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria Prince Bonny Nyong is Chairman of the Akwa Ibom State Football Association Normalization Committee.
Hon. Saturday Akpan will serve as Vice Chairman while Mr John Clayton will act as Secretary of the committee.
Veteran Sports administrator Mr Ini Edoho, Sports Journalist Bassey Ibiatisuho and Anietie Ferdinand Udoh complete the 6-man list as members.
The Normalization Committee SPORTSRATION understands will oversee the day-to-day running of football in the State until election into the Akwa Ibom State Football Association Board is conducted in line with NFF Statutes.
