#AWCONQualifiers: Oshoala ruled out of Nigeria games against Cote d’Ivoire
Asisat Oshoala is reportedly out of Nigeria’s must win games against Cote d’Ivoire.
The Super Falcoms of Nigeria play against the Lady Elephants of Cote d’Ivore over two legs with the aggregate winner booking a place in the Africa Women Cup of Nations.
The first leg will be played today at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja while the second in Abidjan, next week.
And Nigeria will have to play both games without their injured star forward and captain Asisat Oshoala.
The Barcelona who forward who came to Abuja full of life and confidence will miss out of the two games due to injury.
“Nigeria and Barcelona star Asisat Oshoala has been ruled OUT of the African champions’ battle with Cote d’Ivoire to an hamstring suffered in training,” says female football expert Samuel Ahmadu
“This development means the captain will the OUT of the doubleheader for the Nigeria.”
Nigeria must take both games very seriously as it was the Lady Elephants who denied Nigeria an Olympics tickets after their 1-1 draw in Lagos.
