Barcelona Femení scoring streak finally ends after 2,108 Days

After nearly six years of scoring in every Liga F match, Barcelona Femení’s incredible run has ended. The reigning champions were beaten 1–0 by Real Sociedad on 2 November 2025, failing to score for the first time in 2,108 days.

The last time the Catalan giants were shut out in domestic play was 28 November 2020, when they drew 0-0 against Atlético Madrid. Since then, they’ve built a force, winning multiple league titles, UEFA Women’s Champions League trophies, and redefining attacking excellence in European football. Real Sociedad’s disciplined defense deserves full credit for halting one of football’s longest scoring streaks.

It’s the end of a remarkable era but for Barcelona Femení we believe it’s just a brief pause before the goals flow again and expect the team to bounce back quickly perhaps even using this moment as fuel for another scoring surge.
