Barcelona president refuses to rule out move for Coutinho
Barcelona president, Josep Bartomeu has refused to rule out a move for Liverpool playmaker, Philippe Coutinho.
He, however, admitted they will be signing another midfielder.
The Reds are adamant that Coutinho is not for sale, having turned down one offer from the La Liga giants and are reported to have place a £133million asking price on the Brazilian.
It has not deterred Barca, who have even offered to part with Ivan Rakitic as part of the deal.
Speaking ahead of their pre-season friendly with Real Madrid in Miami, Bartomeu, speaking to Spanish publication Sport, said: ” He’s a Liverpool player and I have a lot of respect for Liverpool, which we do in the summer is to be very discreet about everything, so we can not confirm or deny anything.
“There will be more players (coming in), one in the middle, sure.”
