Bayelsa trash RCA 11-0 ahead of first CAFWCL game against Sundowns

Bayelsa Queens have beaten a Moroccan club, RCA, 11-0 in a warm-up game ahead of their debut in the CAF Women’s Champions League.
The Nigerian champions secured a spot to play at the 2022-23 African Women’s Champions League after winning the WAFU Zone B title in September.
And Bayelsa Queens who will be playing in their first-ever CAF Women’s Champions League sent strong warnings to their rivals in Group B which includes the reigning champions Mamelodi Sundowns.
Juliet Sunday scored three goals, Falconets forward, Flourish Sabastine scored two goals, Chinyere Grace scored two goals, and Maryann Ezenagu also got a brace.
Itimi Mercy scored one goal and an own goal increased the tally to 11 with Racing Athletics Casablanca failing to find the back of the net.
The CAF Women Champions League starts on Oct. 30th, but Bayelsa Queens will start their encounter on Monday, 31st October against South African and African champions, Mamelodi Sundowns at At The Grande Stade De Marakech.
Bayelsa Queens are in the Group of death alongside Egyptian, South Africa, and Congolese champions.

The competition will kick off on 30 October 2022 with the final scheduled for 13 November 2022.
