Bayern Munich star Franck Ribery facing two more months out
Bayern Munich winger Franck Ribery could reportedly miss up to two months of action with a fresh thigh injury just weeks after making his comeback from a nine-month absence.
The Frenchman, 32, scored on his return from a serious ankle problem in the Bundesliga against Borussia Monchengladbach earlier this month, but then lasted only half an hour against Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League last week.
According to German publication Kicker, Ribery is facing around eight weeks on the sidelines, meaning that he will be absent when the Bundesliga returns after its international break on January 22.
Ribery’s injury is another blow to Bayern, who are currently without key players Mehdi Benatia, David Alaba, Douglas Costa, Juan Bernat, Mario Gotze and Arjen Robben.
