Bayern Munich’s Harry Kane revels in ‘Unbelievable’ Champions League triumph over Arsenal

Harry Kane expressed his delight after Bayern Munich secured an “unbelievable” victory over old rivals Arsenal in the Champions League quarter-finals.

The Bavarians advanced to the semi-finals of the competition with a 1-0 win over Arsenal at the Allianz Arena, courtesy of Joshua Kimmich’s second-half header. This victory saw Bayern progress 3-2 on aggregate, with Kane, who scored a penalty in the first leg, celebrating the win at the final whistle.

Kane, who has a prolific record against Arsenal with 15 goals in 21 games, shared his thoughts with TNT Sports, saying, “Yeah, an unbelievable win. It’s been a tough season for us. We’ve had to fight and grind it out at times. We knew we could make the difference with our fans at home.”

Reflecting on the match, Kane added, “It was a tough game, a tight game. It was a great goal from Josh [Kimmich]. To reach the semi-finals is a great achievement for us and we can enjoy it.”

Despite losing their Bundesliga crown to Bayer Leverkusen recently, Bayern now have a chance to salvage their season in the Champions League. They will face Real Madrid in the semi-finals, with Kane likely to play a crucial role as he continues his impressive goal-scoring form.

Next, Bayern will return to Bundesliga action with an away fixture against Union Berlin before hosting Eintracht Frankfurt. Then, they will prepare to take on Real Madrid in the Champions League semi-final.
