Bendel Insurance’s Tamara Ezekiel eye return against Bayelsa United
says game against Bayelsa won’t be easy
Bendel Insurance midfielder, Tamara Ezekiel is eyeing a return to action for his team when they face Bayelsa United in Yenegoa on Monday.
The former Lobi Stars midfielder sustained an injury in the 1-0 win against Sunshine Stars at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium on Matcday 13 and has been out of action for four games.
Speaking to Sportsration after resuming training earlier this week, Tamara said he is back and better, and ready to help his team in every way.
“It’s not easy being out of action for four games as I get to watch the team from the sidelines. I’m back and better now. I just hope to make the team against Bayelsa United and help the team in every way that I can.
“We won’t underrate Bayelsa United because they are currently last on the log. This is a competitive league where the last team can beat the team on top, so we need our A-game on Monday and we hope to get the win.” Tamara told Sportsration.
Bendel Insurance, who won last year’s Aiteo Cup are currently seventh on the NPFL log with seven wins in seventeen matches played so far.
