Bob Myers steps down as Warriors GM

Bob Myers has stepped down as Golden State Warriors president and general manager reports SportsRation.

According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the two-time executive of the year said it was time for him to leave.

“Golden State’s Bob Myers – a two-time executive of the year and architect of four NBA championships — is stepping down as the franchise’s president and general manager, he told ESPN on Tuesday. “It’s just time,” Myers said.

During Myers’s 11-year tenure at the Warriors, he helped the team win four titles, change the arena, and created remarkable memories in the Bay Area.
