Bonaventure, Lokosa complete January transfers

Musa on verge of EPL move

Super Eagles striker, Emmanuel Dennis Bonaventure has completed a loan transfer from Belgian Jupiler League side, Club Brugge to German side, FC Cologne until the end of the season. The 24 year old, who is fondly remembered for his goals against Real Madrid in the 2019/20 UEFA Champions League group stage has found himself out of favour recently, and has chosen to follow the footsteps of countryman, Anthony Ujah by playing for the German side.

Former Kano Pillars striker and NPFL hotshot, Junior Lokosa has completed a 6 month move to Simba SC in the Tanzanian league. Lokosa, who was NPFL top scorer during his time in the league moves from Tunisian club, Esperance de Tunis. Simba SC also compete in the continental CAF Champions League this season after they sent Nigerian side, Plateau United packing from the competition.

Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa is reportedly set to join English Premier League side, West Bromwich Albion for a second spell in the league. The 28 year old, who previously played for Leicester City has been without a club since he was let go by Saudi Arabian outfit, Al Nassr. Musa is suited to the style of play employed by Sam Allardyce due to his pace on counter attacks and ability to score goals. He’s set to team up with fellow Super Eagles star, Semi Ajayi at the Hawthorns.
