Boniface celebrates fifth Bundesliga Rookie award with goal in Leverkusen win over Bochum
Victor Boniface continued his impressive run by celebrating his fifth consecutive Rookie of the month award with a goal for Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga win over VFL Bochum.
The Super Eagles of Nigeria striker, who has been in outstanding form, scored his 10th Bundesliga goal to help Bayer Leverkusen secure a 4-0 convincing victory over Bochum and finish the year at the top of the German top league.
Although he came off the bench in the 66th minute, Boniface made an immediate impact, scoring in the 69th minute.
Czech Republic’s Patrick Schick had already set the tone for the match with a first-half hattrick, contributing to Bayer Leverkusen’s dominant performance.
