Boston Legacy Unveil Super Falcons Striker Gift Monday
Boston Legacy FC have officially unveiled Super Falcons striker Gift Monday following her transfer from fellow National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) club Washington Spirit.
The 24-year-old Nigerian forward has signed a five-year contract with Boston Legacy FC and will wear the number 22 jersey.
The club announced her signing on October 6, with Washington Spirit reportedly receiving a transfer fee of $500,000, alongside a 20 per cent sell-on clause.
Monday joined Washington Spirit from Spanish club UD Tenerife in March 2025 and quickly made a name for herself in the American women’s league.
In September 2025, she scored a hat-trick in 35 minutes and 52 seconds against Houston Dash, setting an NWSL record for the fastest hat-trick from kickoff.
Her performances have further strengthened her reputation as one of Nigeria’s promising attacking talents.
The Super Falcons striker will now look to continue her impressive form and help Boston Legacy FC as she begins a new chapter in her career.
