Brady headed for 10th Super Bowl against Chiefs
43 year old leads Buccaneers to NFC championship victory
43 year old Quarterback, Tom Brady has successfully led the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to the Super Bowl. His team overcame Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers 31-26 in the National Football Conference Championship match.
Brady, who has won the Super Bowl 6 times in his 20 years with the New England Patriots now looks to lead the Buccaneers to the title in his first year with them. He threw three touchdown passes to propel his team to victory. The Packers really rued the absence of David Bakhtiari at left tackle due to injury, as he had been brilliant for them all season. They failed to capitalise on their interceptions in the game. The game ended Aaron Rodgers’ brilliant season for the Packers quite undeservedly.
Kansas City Chiefs also made it to the Super Bowl for a second consecutive year after defeating the Buffalo Bills 38-24 in the American Football Conference Championship match after another show of class from Quarterback Patrick Mahomes for them. Both the Chiefs and the Buccaneers will look to get the better of one another in the Super Bowl, with the match scheduled to hold on February 8th, with the Buccaneers efforts earning them a home advantage in the game.
Brady heads to his tenth Super Bowl, which is a record, with a chance to make it 7 titles for himself. He heads to a showdown against Chiefs Quarterback, Mahomes, who is 17 years his junior.
