Brazil 3-0 Ghana : Black Stars bow to superior Brazil

Brazil defeated Ghana 3-0 in an international friendly game on Friday, September 23, 2022.

Both teams will be playing at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar and used the game to test their squad ahead of the tournament in November.

9 minutes into the game, Brazilian defender Marquinos rose highest to head home Raphina’s corner-kick for the opening goal of the game.

It was the Brazilians who continued to press their African opponents and got a due second goal in the 20th minute when Neymar’s pass was finished off by Richarlison.

Neymar and Richarlison combined again to put Brazil three up in the 40th minute. PSG superstar Neymar crossed for Richarlison to head the A Seleção 3-0 ahead vs a Sorry Black Stars.

Otto Addo made a couple of changes in the second half with debutant Inaki Williams a massive attacking threat to the Brazilians who took the foot off the steam in a drab second half.

Brazil walked off the turf in Le Havre France with a 3-0 win over Ghana at the Stade Océane stadium.

Both teams are scheduled to play a game apiece more in the current international break as they prepare for the World Cup.

Brazil will face another African country Tunisia on Tuesday, September 27, while Ghana will play Nicaragua at the Francisco Arés Carrasco stadium.
