Bring On Juventus, Osimhen Boasts After Sampdoria Win
Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has revealed that he and his Napoli teammates are ready to face Juventus on Friday.
The Old Lady have enjoyed an upturn in fortunes following their poor start to the season, winning eight consecutive Serie A matches to move within seven points of Napoli.
Osimhen led Napoli to a 2-0 win over Sampdoria on Sunday, with a sublime finish in the first half before Elf Elmas added the second goal late in the game.
Napoli will welcome Juventus to the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium on Friday night and Osimhen is ready for the blockbuster game.
“Big game, big team, we have a great squad and the most important thing is to win. Any player can make the difference for us,”Osimhen told DAZN.
“Now we go back, relax and then start training to prepare for the game with Juventus.”
Osimhen has been a shining light for Napoli this season in the Serie A, leading the league scoring chart with 10 goals.
He has also scored once in three Champions League games this season.
