Milwaukee Bucks defeated Phoenix Suns 123-119 in Game 5 of the 2021 NBA Finals to go 3-2 up in the series and into the driving seat in the Finals after winning three consecutive matches in their best of seven series.
Giannis Antetokoumpo led the scoring for the Bucks with 32 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists in the game. Antetokoumpo was aided by his teammates, with Khris Middleton contributing 29 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists, and Jrue Holiday contributing 27 points with 4 rebounds and 13 assists in the game. Devin Booker led the scoring for the Suns with 40 points in the game.
Milwaukee Bucks’ Game 5 win puts them one win away from picking up a first championship title in 50 years. The Bucks also became the first side since Miami Heat in 2006 to lose their first two games in the NBA Finals and win the next three consecutively.
