Finally! Milwaukee Bucks end Golden State Warriors’ winning streak
The Golden State Warriors’ record-breaking start to the NBA season is over after a 108-95 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday.
Just a day after surviving double-overtime in Boston, the Warriors were outscored 28-18 in the fourth quarter at BMO Harris Bradley Center.
It ended the Warriors’ record 24-match winning streak to start the season.
Warriors star Steph Curry had 28 points on the back of 10-for-21 shooting, while Draymond Green had a double-double of 24 points and 11 rebounds.
Giannis Antetokounmpo finished with a triple-double of 11 points, 10 assists and 12 rebounds for the Bucks, while Greg Monroe (28 points and 11 rebounds) also starred.
The Warriors had already surpassed the 15-0 starts set by the 1948-49 Washington Capitols and 1993-94 Houston Rockets.
The reigning champions were also on a 28-match regular-season winning streak, but their run was ended in the last game of their seven-game road trip.
