Arsenal star Bukayo Saka believes his team has a strong chance of winning the Premier League title this season and ending Manchester City’s dominance.
Saka, who was a key player in Arsenal’s recent 2-0 win against PSG in the Champions League, expressed confidence in the team’s ability to succeed.
In the match, Saka scored Arsenal’s second goal with a free kick that slipped past everyone and ended in the net, securing their first Champions League victory after a draw in their opening game against Atalanta.
Speaking after the game, Saka shared his thoughts on Arsenal’s chances of winning the Premier League. “I don’t want to put too much pressure on us, but I do think this is the year,” Saka told CBS Sports. “We’ve been close the last two years, and we’re getting closer. Hopefully, this will be the year.”
Saka has been in excellent form this season, contributing five assists and one goal in the Premier League. The 23-year-old will be looking to continue his impressive performances when Arsenal faces Southampton at the Emirates on Saturday.
