Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka is back in training after recovering from a hamstring injury that kept him out since December 2024.
Saka suffered the injury in a match against Crystal Palace and required surgery. His return was expected in early April, and his latest Instagram post confirms he is on track. The post, showing him smiling in full Arsenal training gear, was captioned: “Hello again.”
Big Boost for Arsenal
Before his injury, Saka was having an outstanding season, providing ten assists in his first 16 Premier League games. He was on course to challenge Thierry Henry’s record of 20 assists in a single season. Despite his long absence, Saka still ranks joint-second in the league for chances created.
His absence has been felt, with Arsenal struggling in attack and falling behind in the Premier League title race. They are currently 12 points behind leaders Liverpool with nine games left, making a title win unlikely. However, the Gunners remain in contention for the Champions League and will face Real Madrid in the quarter-finals.
Saka’s Comeback Plan
While his return is a huge boost for Arsenal, Saka will need time to regain full match sharpness. He is expected to be eased back into action, possibly featuring in Arsenal’s next league match against Fulham before the crucial Champions League tie.
His return is great news for Arsenal fans, who can’t wait to see him back in red and white.
