Burnaboy or Davido – Maduka Okoye names his best Nigerian musician
Super Eagles of Nigeria and Udinese of Italy goalkeeper Maduka Okoye has revealed his favorite artist between Davido and Burna Boy.
Okoye, who was recently with the Super Eagles during their World Cup qualifiers against South Africa and Benin Republic but did not play in either game, expressed his preference for Davido over Burna Boy.
In a recent interview, Okoye was asked to choose between the two prominent Nigerian artists. He immediately picked Davido, explaining, “Musically, bro, yes, of course, 1000%. I listen more to Davido than Burna Boy, but there are songs from Burna Boy that I love. However, there’s more of Davido in my playlist than Burna Boy.”
Despite acknowledging both artists’ talents, Okoye favored Davido because he enjoys listening to his music more frequently.
