Cash rain! Napoli will pay Osimhen 120m if he scores 30 goals this season
Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen is scoring goals for fun at Napoli this season and could get as much as €260,000 ( 120 million naira ) if he scores 30 goals this season.
According to LA GAZZETTA, this is contained in the forwards contract with the Partonopei which has already fetched him €130,000 for scoring 20 goals.
He is currently on 21 goals and will be due for bonuses at 25 and 30. Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis will be happy to dispense the cash with the club heading towards the Scuddeto.
Napoli lead the Italian Serie A standings with 18 points and will bank on Osimhen to continue his goal-scoring exploits to see their title chase to the finishing line.
Napoli are also in the UEFA Champions League, a competition that will afford Osimhen more opportunities to bang goals.
The Super Eagle was on the scoresheet when Napoli edged Eintract Frankfurt 0-2 in the UEFA champions league round of 16 first leg clash in Germany on February 21.
The next challenge for Osimhen and Napoli is Mauricio Sarri tutored Lazio at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium, Naples on March 3, 2023.
If Osimhen scores in the game, It will be his 9th consecutive game on the scoresheet in the Italian Serie A, a run that has seen him pull clear on the goal-scorers chart with 19 league goals to his name with 14-games to the end of the season.
