Cavaliers dealing with Love knee injury
The Cleveland Cavaliers will be without forward Kevin Love for at least one game due to a knee injury.
Love, who is averaging a double-double this season, suffered a left knee contusion when he collided with Los Angeles Lakers forward Larry Nance Jr on Saturday.
The injury swelled, which will force Love to skip the trip to Milwaukee on Tuesday for a match against the Bucks.
Cavs coach Tyronn Lue confirmed Richard Jefferson will start in place of Love, who is also questionable to face the Bucks at home on Wednesday.
Love has 16 double-doubles this season. He is the team’s best rebounder and has found a new gear offensively by knocking down 41 per cent of his three-point attempts.
He should be back in the line-up by the end of the week.
