Che Adams 39-yard goal in Southampton 1-0 win v City condemns Guardiola to career first
Che Adams scored from 39-yard in Southampton’s 1-0 home win against Manchester City in a Premier League game on Sunday to condemn Pep Guardiola to a first career record.
Pep Guardiola who in the past had coached the great Barcelona team with a young Lionel Messi, prime Andrea Iniesta and Xavi Hernandes enjoyed great success at the Spanish giants.
The Spaniard also went on to coach a Bayern Munich side who had won the league title consistently and the were a always one of the champions league favourites.
All through his career he Pep Guadiola’s team have never lost three away games in row until this season with losses at Manchester United, Chelsea and Southampton he recorded his first three consecutive away losses.
Today, Che Adams scored a powerful chip from 39-yard out to condemn the Spaniard into his first ever three consecutive away defeats.
The goal is Che Adams first Premier League goal.
