The NBA Play-In Tournament teams have been set following the conclusion of the 2023–2024 NBA regular season.

In the Eastern Conference, the Philadelphia 76ers and Miami Heat will compete for the seventh and eighth seeds, respectively. The opening game will feature the Chicago Bulls hosting the Atlanta Hawks.

Over in the Western Conference, the Sacramento Kings will face the Golden State Warriors in the first 8th-seed clash, while the New Orleans Pelicans will take on the Los Angeles Lakers for the seventh seed.

Teams placing seventh through tenth in each conference will vie for the seventh and eighth playoff spots in the Play-In Tournament. Meanwhile, teams ranking 1-6 in the standings are guaranteed postseason berths.

The Play-In Tournament is scheduled from Tuesday, April 16, to Friday, April 19, preceding the NBA playoffs starting on Saturday, April 20, 2024.
