Chelsea Academy graduate Jamal Musiala now Bayern’s youngest goalscorer
Chelsea academy graduate Jamal Musiala has become the youngest goal scorer for Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga.
The 17-year-old forward was subbed on in Bayern Munich 8-0 season opener win against Schalke 04 on Friday.
Jamal Musiala started his football career at Chelsea where he spent 7 years before joining Bayern Munich in July 2019.
Since his move to the German giants, Jamal Musiala has set two records in Bayern Munich colours.
On the 20th of June 2020 he made his debut against Freiburg becoming the youngest player to play a match for Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga – he was just 17 and 115 days old.
Yesterday, with his goal against Schalke 04 he became the youngest goal scorer Bayern Munich history aged 17 years and 115 days – breaking Roque Santa’s Crus 18 years 12 days record.

Musiala was born in Germany to a Nigerian father and German mother. He moved to England at a young age, and back to Germany as a teenager. Musiala has represented both England and Germany at youth international level.
