Chelsea appoints Enzo Maresca as new manager

Premier League giants Chelsea have announced Enzo Maresca as their new manager, taking over from Mauricio Pochettino. The club revealed today that Maresca, previously with Leicester City, will begin his role on July 1, 2024.

Chelsea and Pochettino parted ways amicably at the end of the season. The club quickly began searching for a replacement and considered several candidates before choosing Maresca. Known for his recent success in leading Leicester City back to the Premier League and his experience as Pep Guardiola’s assistant, Maresca was seen as the ideal choice.
