Chelsea fans beg Lampard to give Ampadu a chance after his great display in Wales win

Chelsea fans have asked manager Frank Lampard to give their 19-year-old midfielder Ethan Ampadu a chance to impress him this season.

Ampadu who spent the 2019-20 season on loan at RB Leipzig was a part of the team the previous season under the tutelage of Maurizio Sarri.

The Welsh played in some games and ended up an Europa League winner but he was sent out on loan to Germany the following season.

Injury and lack of trust from Leipzig manager meant he didn’t have a great time on loan in Germany, hence, the reason for his recall.

Ethan Ampadu was the player who gifted a penalty to Brighton as Chelsea were forced to a 1-1 draw at the Amex Stadium on Saturday.

As Frank Lampard prepares for the new season, Ethan Ampadu has been rumoured to the on the list of players who would be sent out on loan.

But after his master display in Wales UEFA Nations League game against FInland, Chelsea fans are pleading with Frank Lampard to give him a chance.

Ethan Ampadu who played as a central defender, 100% of his ground duels (4/4), 100% of his interception (1/1), completed three tackles.

He touched the ball 88 times and passed 75 times with 97% accuracy.
