Just seven minutes later, Chelsea extended their lead when Nicolas Jackson found the back of Sheffield United’s net. Palmer provided the assist, and Jackson, positioned at close range, confidently struck the ball home.
The 2-0 lead proved insurmountable for Sheffield United, securing all three points for Chelsea.
With this victory, Chelsea climbed the Premier League table and now occupies the 10th position.
On the other hand, Sheffield United remains at the bottom with eight points. Mauricio Pochettino’s side displayed resilience and attacking prowess in front of their home supporters, aiming to build momentum in the league when they host Newcastle United FC.
