Chelsea’s on-loan striker Radamel Falcao has reportedly returned to parent club AS Monaco to have his thigh injury assessed.
The 29-year-old’s future at Stamford Bridge remains in doubt as he has only managed to score one goal in 11 appearances.
While Falcao’s presence in Monaco has fuelled rumours that he is poised to return, the Daily Mail reports that the striker was there to have his injury checked.
The report adds that Chelsea will make a decision on whether or not to keep Falcao depending on the severity of his injury.
