Chelsea Star Moises Caicedo Welcomes Baby Girl
Chelsea midfielder Moises Caicedo has become a father for the first time, celebrating the arrival of his baby girl, Zoé.
The 23-year-old Ecuadorian shared the happy news on Instagram shortly after helping Ecuador secure a 1-0 win over Colombia in their World Cup qualifying match.
Caicedo posted a heartwarming photo cradling his newborn daughter with the caption:
“The most special day of my life. Welcome, my princess, my greatest motivation. Thank you to my life partner (@paolita_salazar18) for giving me this perfect gift.”
Fans and teammates filled the comments section with messages of congratulations, making the post a viral hit.
Caicedo and his girlfriend, Paola Salazar, have been together since their teenage years.
Paola, a 23-year-old model and influencer, was crowned Queen of the Carnival of the Americas in Ecuador’s Los Rios province. With over 114,000 followers on Instagram, she often shares glimpses of her life with Caicedo.
She also supported him during his record-breaking £115 million move to Chelsea in 2023.
Caicedo has been in excellent form for Chelsea this season, scoring one goal and providing two assists in 11 appearances.
He is set to return to Premier League action this weekend when Chelsea faces Leicester City at the King Power Stadium under manager Enzo Maresca.
The arrival of baby Zoé marks a joyful chapter in Caicedo’s life as he continues to shine on the pitch and celebrate milestones off it.
