Chiamaka Nnadozie on the losing side as City knock Paris out of the Champions League
Nigerian goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie and her Paris FC teammates were knocked out of the UEFA Women’s Champions League after a crushing 8-0 aggregate defeat to Manchester City.
After suffering a 5-0 loss in the first leg in Paris, Nnadozie and Paris FC were unable to turn things around in the second leg at Manchester’s Academy Stadium. Manchester City completed the job with a commanding 3-0 victory, sealing their place in the group stages of the competition.
City’s victory was driven by two goals from Khadija Shaw and an early strike from Chloe Kelly, leaving Paris FC with no chance of a comeback. Despite Nnadozie’s efforts in goal, her side was outclassed by a dominant Manchester City team across both legs.
The aggregate 8-0 loss ends Paris FC’s hopes in Europe, while Manchester City move on to the main stages of the UEFA Women’s Champions League, continuing their quest for European glory.
