Chiamaka Nnadozie Wins CAF Goalkeeper of the Year Again

Chiamaka Nnadozie has been crowned the CAF Women’s Goalkeeper of the Year for the third time, extending her dominance as Africa’s best shot-stopper.
The Super Falcons star once again beat strong competition to retain her crown at the 2025 CAF Awards held in Rabat on Tuesday night. The victory confirms her place among the very best goalkeepers in women’s football.
Nnadozie enjoyed an outstanding year for both club and country. She played a key role in Nigeria’s Women’s Africa Cup of Nations triumph, keeping four clean sheets as the Super Falcons won their tenth continental title.
At club level, she also had a brilliant season. She helped Paris FC win the French Cup in a memorable final against PSG before moving to Brighton & Hove Albion in the Women’s Super League.
Her consistency, calmness, and match-winning saves made her a clear favourite for the award. With this third consecutive honour, Nnadozie has strengthened her reputation as one of the best goalkeepers in the world.
