Chiamaka Nnadozie Wins WSL Save of the Month for November

Super Falcons and Brighton goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie has won the Barclays Women’s Super League Save of the Month award for November.

The 24-year-old joined Brighton & Hove Albion in the summer and has already become one of the team’s standout players. Her winning save came in the match against Liverpool, where she produced an impressive, athletic stop to keep her side in the game. Brighton later fought back to earn a 1–1 draw.

The save happened when Liverpool’s Fuka Nagano fired a powerful long-range shot towards the top corner. Nnadozie reacted quickly, jumped high, and tipped the ball onto the crossbar. It was a key moment that kept Brighton alive before a late equaliser secured the point.

Her save was chosen ahead of other strong contenders and comes after she narrowly missed out on the October award.

Since moving to England from Paris FC, Nnadozie has settled in well and is now seen as one of the most dependable goalkeepers in the league. She has already recorded two clean sheets this season. Brighton currently sit seventh in the WSL table with 11 points, and her impressive save percentage has been a major boost for the team.

After coming close last month, this award marks a moment of personal success and growing recognition for the Nigerian international. As Brighton prepare for their next match on 7 December, Nnadozie will be hoping to continue her excellent form and help push her team further up the table.
