Chinedu Udoji dies hours after his man of the match display in Pillars-Enyimba clash
Veteran defender Chinedu Udoji has kicked the bucket this morning following a car accident in Kano last night according to various sources.
The former Enyimba defender was named the man of the match in the clash between his present club and former employers on Sunday at the Sani Abacha stadium.
According to reports, Chinedu Udoji was heading back to the Pillars clubhouse after he visited the hotel of Enyimba when he was involved in an accident which took his life.
The gentle but tough tackling defender was an integral part of what Enyimba achieved in the past years.
Kano Pillars confirmed his death via their official twitter handle this morning.
