Clippers Edge Nuggets 105-102 in Thrilling Game 2 to Level Playoff Series

The second game of the NBA 2025-26 Playoffs between the Denver Nuggets and Los Angeles Clippers lived up to expectations, as fans were treated to another exciting match on 21 April at Ball Arena.

In a close contest from start to finish, the Clippers claimed a hard-fought 105-102 win, bringing the series to 1-1.

Russell Westbrook continued to shine for the Nuggets, making key plays at important moments. However, it was Kawhi Leonard’s outstanding performance that made the difference for the Clippers. Fully fit and back to his best, Leonard scored a game-high 39 points with excellent shooting throughout the game. He started off red-hot, making his first five shots and setting the tone for the night.

The Nuggets managed to build a six-point lead by the end of the first quarter, but neither team could pull away as the game remained tight all the way. The lead changed hands several times, and no side ever led by more than eight points.

Like the thrilling overtime match in Game 1, this game was full of intensity, with both teams battling for every point.

For Clippers fans, Leonard’s performance was a positive sign after his long spell out due to injury. He looked sharp and confident, just as the team had hoped when he joined the club.

Despite Denver’s strong effort and Westbrook’s key contributions, Leonard’s brilliance helped the Clippers grab a vital away win.

The series now heads to Los Angeles, where more thrilling action is expected as both teams continue their fight for a place in the next round. The close 105-102 scoreline shows just how evenly matched these teams are.
