The Dallas Mavericks continued their impressive start to the Emirates NBA Cup after defeating the Utah Jazz 112-100 on Friday night, improving to 2-0 in West Group A.
Cooper Flagg was once again at the centre of Dallas’ performance, delivering an all-round display with 21 points, 10 rebounds, seven assists and three steals. The young star came close to recording a triple-double, showing his growing influence on both ends of the court.

The result moves the Mavericks to 2-0 in NBA Cup Group A, putting them in a strong position as they continue their push for a place in the knockout rounds.
For Utah, the defeat leaves them searching for answers after another difficult outing. The Jazz dropped to 0-1 in NBA Cup play and will need a stronger response in their upcoming fixtures.
With Flagg continuing to develop and Dallas getting valuable contributions from several players, the Mavericks are beginning to look like a team capable of making a serious run in this year’s competition.
