Cristiano Ronaldo announces that he’s expecting twins

Manchester United and Portugal forward Cristiano Ronaldo has taken to his Instagram page to announce that he is expecting a set of twins with partner Georgina Rodriguez.

The Portuguese legend, who joined Manchester United from Italian giants Juventus in the summer made the announcement on Thursday October 28th together with his partner via their Instagram accounts.

Cristiano Ronaldo already has four children from three women, including a set of twins. Cristiano Jr was born in 2010 before a surrogate mother gave birth to the twins Eva and Matteo in July 2017. Shortly after in November 2017, Ronaldo’s partner Georgina Rodriguez gave birth to a girl, Alana Martina.

Ronaldo’s announcement comes just days before he takes to the pitch with his Manchester United teammates against Tottenham Hotspur in a match that may determine the future of Red Devils manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Cristiano Ronaldo has now surpassed rival Lionel Messi for the most liked picture of a sportsperson on social media. The record was previously held by the Argentina forward, whose pose in the Parc Des Princes with his family during his PSG unveiling earlier this summer was liked by 22 million people. Ronaldo’s picture with his partner has now reached over 27 million likes after about 24 hours.

Ronaldo’s attention will now turn to Sunday’s clash against Tottenham, where his team would be banking on him to add to his tally of three Premier League goals at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
