Cristiano Ronaldo out of Portugal and Nigeria friendly

Cristiano Ronaldo has been ruled out of the friendly match between Portugal and Nigeria.

The Portuguese superstar has been ruled out the much anticipated friendly.

Portugal play Nigeria on Thursday at the Estadio Jose Alvalde stadium to fine tune their preparation for the FIFA World Cup.

The Selecao first game at the FIFA World Cup is against Ghana and the friendly is to get the team prepared for the game.

But they will do this without their captain and superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo.

Portugal head coach Fernando Santos confirmed that Cristiano Ronaldo will miss tomorrow’s friendly match against Nigeria after pulling out of training with a stomach bug.

The match will be played at 7:45 pm Nigerian time.
