Curry drops 4th double-double of the season, suffers ankle injury in Warriors win over Pelicans
Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry left his team’s 125-115 road win against the New Orleans Pelicans late with an ankle injury on Monday.
Curry scored 31 points with 11 assists and five rebounds, marking his fourth double-double of the season.
But he could be facing a lengthy absence after struggling to limp off the court with just under a minute remaining.
Curry attempted to steal a pass intended for E’Twaun Moore and turned his right ankle.
The Warriors trailed by 20 points at half-time, but for the second time this season, they erased the large deficit to win.
Golden State are now 2-0 when faced with a 20-point half-time deficit this season, when they had previously been 2-150.
