Curry not interested in LeBron’s desire for them to be teammates
Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry has shut down any hopes of him becoming teammates with fellow superstar LeBron James.
A day after LeBron James Los Angeles Lakers official missed out on any chance of playing in the offseason, the superstar revealed his desire of playing with Steph Curry.
LeBron James who will be spending his off-season watching other teams do battle in the postseason looks to have his plans in place for his next destination.
The former Cleveland, Miami Heat superstars said on the latest episode of HBO’s “The Shop” that Steph is the one player in today’s game that he wants to play with the most
“Steph Curry is the one I want to play with, for sure, in today’s game,” James said.
“[He’s] lethal, man. When he gets out of his car, you better guard him right from the moment he pulls up to the arena,” James added. “Soon as he gets out of his car, you better guard his ass. You might want to guard him when he gets out of bed. Swear to God.”
Stephen Curry while on the 95.7 The Game’s Steiny and Guru on Wednesday afternoon, responded to LeBron’s fantasy saying ‘he is good right.’
“Well, he’s got his wish,” Curry said. “When he’s the captain he’s picked me the last two All-Star games. I don’t know if that suffices, but I’m good right now.
“Whenever you get the interest or curiosity of what it would be like to play with the MVP-caliber dude that he is, one of the greatest of all time, it’s cool, that’s amazing. We all can live in that fantasy world.”
Golden State Warriors general manager Bob Myers also gave his take on LeBron’s wish.
“I’m not gonna comment on that. … But who wouldn’t wanna play with Curry.”
