Daga Scores First Goal for Molde FK
Daniel Daga, the 18-year-old midfielder for Molde FK, has expressed his excitement after scoring his first goal for the Norwegian champions.
Daga, who joined Molde from One Rocket following a successful loan spell with Nigeria’s Enyimba, is quickly settling into life in Norway.
In his debut game for Molde, Daga made an impact by scoring the only goal of the match in the 84th minute. He rose to meet a corner kick and headed the ball past the goalkeeper, Felix Jakobsson, securing the win for his team.
After the match, a delighted Daga took to social media, writing, “First goal in blue. Great feeling!”
The young midfielder, who impressed with Nigeria’s U-20 team during the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Argentina, previously named former Chelsea player N’Golo Kante and Tottenham’s Yves Bissouma as his idols.
Daga, known for his defensive skills and ball-winning ability, has a promising future ahead of him. He now aims to build on his goal and continue making an impact at Molde FK, with hopes of advancing his career in European football.
