Damola Ajayi Signs Professional Contract with Tottenham Hotspur

Damola Ajayi, a talented winger and Flying Eagles hopeful, has signed a professional contract extension with Tottenham Hotspur, according to reports.

The 19-year-old, who was born in London to Nigerian parents, joined Tottenham in 2022 and has impressed the club’s management. As part of the new deal, Ajayi will stay at Tottenham until 2028, giving him plenty of time to grow and develop.

Ajayi shared his excitement on social media by posting a black-and-white photo of himself signing the contract with the caption: “God’s work.”

Tottenham’s academy also celebrated the extension, saying: “We’re delighted to confirm that Damola Ajayi has signed a new deal with the club, running until 2028. Congratulations, Damola!”

Ajayi was called up for his first UEFA Europa League match under manager Ange Postecoglou during Tottenham’s 2-1 win against Ferencváros, but he stayed on the bench for the game.

Though his senior team appearances have been limited, Ajayi has shown great potential in Tottenham’s youth teams. He has scored 19 goals in 42 matches for the U-18s and added five goals for the U-21s, leaving fans excited about his future at the club.
