Daniel Daga set for Molde unveiling
Flying Eagles midfielder Daniel Daga has agreed to join top Norwegian football club Molde. The talented defensive midfielder will officially join the team in January, after turning 18 on January 10, 2025.
This move ends months of speculation about Daga’s future. Last year, the youngster attracted interest from English club Watford and a top Belgian team.
Daga made a strong impression at the 2022 WAFU U20 AFCON qualifying tournament in Niger Republic, helping the Flying Eagles qualify for the 2023 U20 AFCON.
Unfortunately, a knee injury during the opening game against Senegal at the U20 AFCON in Egypt cut his tournament short. However, Daga returned to form at the U20 World Cup, where the Flying Eagles reached the quarterfinals.
In the past 18 months, Daga has played on loan at Enyimba FC from FC One Rocket, showing his skills on the field. His move to Molde marks a new chapter in his promising career.
