Danjuma names 19-players for Nigeria Vs Tanzania clash
Nigeria U-20 head coach Chris Danjuma has released a list of 19 players for the side’s 2024 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup qualifier against Tanzania.
Falconets Coach Danjuma initially invited 30 players to camp for the game but has cut that list to 19 for the double-header.
In the second qualifying round, the Falconets sealed a place in the third round after Mauritius withdrew from the game.
In the third qualifying round, Nigeria will face Tanzania in the first leg scheduled to take place at the Azam Sports Complex, Dar es Salaam on November 12.
The return fixture will be played at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja a week later.
The 2024 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup will take place in Colombia with the number of teams expanded from 16 to 24.
