Deni Avdija Leads Trail Blazers Past Suns 132-119 With 12 Assists

The Portland Trail Blazers continued their impressive run with a 132-119 victory over the Phoenix Suns, thanks to an excellent all-round performance from Deni Avdija.

Avdija finished with 21 points, seven rebounds and a game-high 12 assists, playing a major role in Portland’s offensive success. His ability to create opportunities for his teammates helped the Trail Blazers maintain their advantage throughout the contest

Damian Lillard also made an important contribution, recording 25 points and five assists, while Donovan Clingan delivered an impressive performance inside the paint with 24 points, 11 rebounds and three blocks.

Portland’s offensive firepower proved too much for Phoenix, which struggled to contain the Trail Blazers and eventually suffered a 13-point defeat.

The victory improved Portland’s record to 6-1 and moved the team into first place in the Western Conference, an impressive achievement at this early stage of the season.

With Avdija leading the playmaking effort and several teammates contributing offensively, Portland is beginning to look like a team capable of making some noise this season.
