Depleted Golden Eaglets fly out tomorrow, face another age test in Tanzania Thursday
A hugely depleted Golden Eaglets will fly out of the country tomorrow ahead of this year’s U17 AFCON and will face another round of age tests the following day on arrival in Tanzania.
The Eaglets lost as many of six of their starters from the zonal qualifiers in Niger in September after the latest MRI age test in Abuja last week.
It was further revealed that the Eaglets handlers are ready to risk a couple of the players who are on the border line from the age test.
Last year, the gamble on skipper Sulaiman Sani Abacha failed after he was disqualified at the zonal qualifiers in Niamey.
According to reports the Eaglets final 21-man squad will face another round of age tests on Thursday.
This test will be conducted by the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
